Matthew Durkin, a.k.a. Spinning Man -Suffers tragic accident

My name is Jeff Perkins, former director of the DCI Avant Garde Drum & Bugle Corps. My close friend, Matthew Durkin was the food service manager of my drum corps for many years. As we toured the country we got close and became like family. Many members of our drum corps activity became family. I am reaching out to all of you to raise this money for Matt. Unfortunately, Matt recently had a tragic fall resulting with a broken neck and a spinal injury causing his inability to feel or move his legs. This unexpected accident has left Matt with regular expenses along with added financial burdens such as medical bills that he will not be able to pay. He is unsure when he will be discharged from the hospital at this time. When he is discharged he will have to continue his recovery at a rehab facility. This could be for a year or more. My goal is to support our friend Matt not only emotionally but financially. I know it is true to say that Matt is the type of person that would do the same for us.
