Hi,
I'm Ben from Deviate Cycles, and we're trying to help Matthew Fairbrother raise enough money to compete in the Enduro World Series (EWS) in North America.
17 Year Old Matt competed in the EWS in Tweed Valley, Scotland, placed in a solid 11th place, and then went on to pedal his enduro bike to the next EWS in Jamnica, Slovenia. That's over 1550km.
To get there on time, Matt pedalled 250km a day on a fully loaded enduro bike! Casually, he "popped" into Leogang to watch the UCI World Cup en route.
Matt dislocated his finger in Jamnica, but still finished in an impressive 10th place!
Matt is a self-funded privateer - at 17 years old, he's impressively saved up to make this European trip happen.
Deviate Cycles are a small Scottish bike manufacturer and we sponsor a small number of privateers, including Matt. We have provided Matt with a frame and bikepacking kit for this adventure. After seeing his enthusiasm and drive, we've decided to pay for Matt's flights to North America. However, unfortunately, that's where our limited resources run out. We've set up this page at the request of the wider MTB community to help fund a small part of Matt's adventures.
A few $/£/€ will go a long way, even if it's just a decent feed after a 250km day, and Matt is incredibly grateful for any help at all!
