Matthew Goad

Hello my name is Zach and I'm fundraising for my best friend of over 20 years, Matt.

Matt has had a history of mental illness dating all the way back to childhood. Depression, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia all played a part in taking his life on the afternoon of Saturday, November 4th, 2023 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Matt was loved by so many people. He was the funniest, kindest, most caring person in the lives of everyone who knew him. His passing has been the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with, and it's safe to say many others in our circle feel the same. I want to lighten the load given to his family by starting this fundraiser. He was a truly special individual raised by an equally special family who I think deserve support in this hard time. Helping with the cost of a funeral service/medical expenses would mean everything to his family and I.
