Matthew & Heaven Lunceford - Infertility.

Hello, my name is Heaven Lunceford (Taylor) and I’m the wife to Matthew and momma to our beautiful 3 year old Victoria. Since I was a teen I have been diagnosed with PCOS and in recent years endometriosis. Matthew and I met in late 2015 and into 2016 and tried until 2018 to get pregnant before we were instructed to see a specialist and start the process of IVF and hormone therapy. At the time we could not afford the cost of IVF as Matthew had just gotten out of the military and was in school full time. I went back to school and months later I found out that I was pregnant. Thankfully my pregnancy was healthy and Victoria is healthy and growing as she should. Going into 2023 we decided we would make the decision to reverse Matthews vasectomy and continue to grow the family. It has become apparent after meeting with my doctor, having blood panels and adding all the risks we will need to consider IVF for a successful pregnancy. We are able to do as much as we can when it comes to the cost of the appointments and what the treatments will cost, but don’t have close to what it’s going to cost (nearly $18,000). And that’s the cost of travel, reversal, appointments and sperm removal and storage until we make the next step to make for a success pregnancy. It’s going to be an extremely emotional and stressful time, and to further make things difficult we are reaching out to hopefully receive assistance from family and friends to help with that stress.
