Edit: Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us out over the last week. We’ve truly been blown away by the generosity of everyone here on this page and those who have helped in person with acts of support large and small. We’re amazed that we’ve now reached our goal of $20,000 which seemed unimaginable when we started. The last few days have shown us what a challenge the ongoing care of Gary and Amelia, as well as keeping them together with their family, is going to be. So we’re going to leave the fundraiser open for now and see what sort of nest egg we can put together for the kid’s future. On the 8th of February 2023, Matthew and Kathryn lost their lives in a tragic accident at Frazer Beach. Leaving behind Matthew's daughter Abigail (13yo) and their two children Gary(10yo) and Amelia(5yo).

Gary was born with a disability that causes him to have seizures and has left him wheelchair-bound and in need of full-time care. Amelia has autism which also requires a lot of care.

We are looking to raise money for the cost of the funerals and also to help care for and support these beautiful children that have been left behind.
