Matthew R. Nolte

My name is Kenny Owens and I am asking for blessings from those whom loved Matthew Nolte and those who have been touched by is story.

They say loss is simply apart of life but what the Nolte and Potter families have endured in the last 4 years, is a loss too great for any family to bear.

Matthew joins his beloved older brother Eric J. Nolte who tragically perished in April of 2019. The 2 brothers both leave behind 2 beautiful children and an amazingly gifted younger brother (Jared), who they loved and cherished more than life itself.

Matthew attended St. Rose Catholic school before attending Lima Senior High and recently took up the mantle of coach at Elida local schools elementary basketball program.

Matthew was a DEVOTED Cincinnati Bengals fanatic with a tremendous passion for basketball, baseball, golf and video games.

Matthew loved life and took exceptionally great pride in being a father to his 2 beautiful children Dalton and Breanna. These 2 extraordinary kids have both shown the kind of strength, only a father could have given to his children.

The loss of Matthew and his brother Eric , shows us just how short and precious life is. We need to hold close those we cherish most and remember to always tell them just how much they mean to us.

We may not always agree or understand the lords plan for those we hold in our hearts. However, we must grip on to faith and muster the strength to believe that the lords plan for those we hold dear, is greater than our own.

I ask all of you to keep Matthew and the Nolte/Potter families in your thoughts and prayers as we continue through the grieving process.

Your blessings are greatly appreciated and will be used in memory of such a great man, father, son, brother, cousin and coach.
