Matthew Veenstra Memorial Fund

My brother, Matt Veenstra, passed away March 11, 2024. He was a devoted father, a loving son, an annoying but caring brother, a great friend, and he will be greatly missed. He loved his son Oscar with every fiber of his being and he adored being Oscar’s dad. Together they built stick forts in local parks, snow bunkers in the backyard, went camping, skiing, and did all sorts of outdoor sports and activities together. Matt was a very patient and doting father, and it is our hope that we (his family and friends) can help Oscar to remember how much his father loved him. We are asking for funds to assist Oscar in his future endeavors, whatever they may be. He is a talented artist, and has a lot of different interests, and at 9 years old, no one knows what his future holds. Any funds received will be transferred into a trust administered by his grandparents, Mary and Larry Veenstra.
