Matthew Wakeman

Fightzone London is raising money for the family of our dear departed brother Matthew Wakeman.

Matt has been a part of the Fightzone family since the gym first opened in 2012. During his time, he was looked up to as a leading figure of the 7am BJJ crew.

Matt could hang with the best in the training room and always made time for the new students; never turning down a training partner and leading by example.

He had an infectiously positive outlook and carefree approach that will be difficult to replace.

This week, we will be holding a minute of silence before the start of class to honour and remember our brother.
