On June 19th, 2023, a devastating tragedy struck the lives of the Mckinney-Cockrell and Hayter families. Brittney Renee Mckinney-Cockrell (37) and her partner Michael Hayter (41) were brutally murdered in front of their two youngest children in Westbrook ,Maine. This senseless act of violence has left their loved ones shattered and heartbroken. We have created this GoFundMe campaign to provide financial support for their children's future .

Brittney and Michael were an incredible couple who recently relocated from Houston, Texas to Westbrook Maine, just six months prior to this tragic incident. Brittney was deeply cherished by her family and friends, leaving behind many broken hearts. She was a loving daughter, sister, and most importantly, a devoted mother to three beautiful children. Michael was a kind-hearted individual, always putting his loved ones before himself. Their lives were unjustly cut short, leaving a void that can never be filled.
