Mattock Mike Murray
A change of circumstance has resulted in Mike Murray altering his work plan for next week.
The 75 year old will now be swinging his mattock, and a sledge hammer, on a construction task to improve his local environment for the benefit of villagers.
Mike will be still working the original 12 hour stints from early morning to evening to experience the long and tiring NHS current shift hours for 3 days starting on Tuesday 28th April.
Hospice care charities are in desperate need of donations due to financial strain from the covid-19 lockdown in the UK. Fund raising events that charities heavily rely on across the country have been cancelled.
The donations toward Mike’s fundraising project will be going to St Catherine’s Crawley, a local hospice in West Sussex and East Surrey. https://www.stch.org.uk/
Thank you in advance for your support and contribution to this cause.
