Support of Kasey Peters due to her father's passing

Matt Peters was a loving father, a son, a friend, a mentor, and a brother in more ways than one. His outgoing personality and heart-felt disposition have touched many of us across Acadiana. His sudden passing comes far too soon for the family and friends who enjoyed his jokes, his charm, and his love.

Matt spent 30 years as a Sound Engineer, touring with national artists and helping bring out the best sound of local Louisiana bands in live performances. While music was integral to his life, he really found his calling as a dad when his daughter Kasey was born.

After his untimely passing, his friends and family are raising money to help care for his 14-year-old daughter, Kasey Peters, in his absence.

To know Matt was to know a confidant, a bright smile, a warm hug, and a friend willing to give all, with no expectations of receiving anything in return. Please consider helping his daughter out in this difficult time.

Funeral services for Matt will be Saturday Jan 11, 2025 at Martin & Castile funeral home, 600 E Farrel Road, Lafayette, LA 70508

- Visitation 12-2 pm

- Funeral service 2-3 pm

- Reception for family and friends to follow

- Private interment will be in China Cemetery in Elton, LA at a later date
