Matt's Medical Miracle

Hi, we are loved ones of Matt & Stephanie Eggar (and Renee, Alex and Gabi). We know there are a LOT of us out there who have received love and support from the Eggars in so many ways through the years (whether financially, relationally, vocationally, hospitality, etc.) And we hope we can join forces to bless their family in this season of need!

Matt was diagnosed with ocular melanoma last year and a few months ago we, devastatingly, learned that his cancer metastasized to his liver. His cancer is super rare and his prognosis grim, but there are some (expensive) medical trials worth pursuing. We desire to come around the Eggars to help them make it possible to pursue these medical options while continuing to parent their three amazing children.

Matt has literally spent his career helping others to build a safety net for their families. He and Stephanie together have been a safety net for many of us. We want them to feel strong support from the wide safety net of folks they've blessed through the years. Every little bit or big bit helps. A long time ago a hungry group of 5,000 people needed dinner and a little boy didn't have anywhere near enough. But he offered what he had. And Jesus multiplied it and provided more than what they needed. I hope you'll join us in that kind of generosity.
