Hi, my name is Stephanie Lang and I'm raising funds for Kent Mattson and Kami (Mattson) Brand following a heartbreaking family tragedy.
On March 5 after not being able to get ahold of their parents or brother, Kent and Kami felt it was best to contact the local police to do a welfare check. The unthinkable had happened. Their parents, Darrell and Denise along with their older brother Kirk were found deceased in their home due to multiple gunshot wounds. (Investigation is pending)
Of course their world as they knew it had come crashing down. They'd lost both of their parents and their brother. How does one even make sense of this?
Family, neighbors and friends are heartroken and shocked to say the least.
As Kami's friend for over 30 years I wish I could make it all go away...but I can't. I know many feel this way. All I can do is what I do best. REACH OUT. Kent, Kami and their families are in a state of shock and trying to navigate through this thing call "grief". I'd like to raise money for family needs. No amount of money is too small and will be put to immediate use. Minimizing some of the financial stress will help Kami and Kent as they plan for three unexpected funerals. During this time of heartbreak and mourning, any help would mean the world to the family and allow them to focus on how they can "honor" their parents and brother.
Lord knows I'm not a professional writer, but I wanted to get a GoFundMe page up and running for immediate help so Kent and Kami can focus on what needs to take place next.
I am forever grateful for whatever you choose to contribute. The money raised will go to them and be used for the immediate needs of the family. Any additional funds will be donated to support Mental Health in their community.
