Ease Gizmo's Pain in His Final Days

Meet Gizmo. Thirteen years ago, my friend's dog had a litter. We’ve shared 13 wonderful years together! I wouldn’t trade him for the world. Gizmo has been such a blessing to me and my family. He’s watched my nieces and nephews grow up. He’s never attacked a single person! He loves to cuddle up next to you under the blankets! He loves walks! Ice cream dates excite him! He loves to sunbathe outside, loves the beach but hates the sounds of the waves crashing. He enjoys car rides and sticking his head out of the window. He’s gentle with his toys and knows countless tricks. He’s gotten me through all the low points in my life and has been with me for the high ones.

Unfortunately, he’s old in age. On May 14th, I took him to the vet because his hind leg swelled like a balloon out of nowhere. The vet had given me two different antibiotics for any infection, a script of Vetprofen, and Gabapentin for his pain. With lots of prayers, care, and love, the swelling went down and he was back to himself! Running, jumping, playing—he seemed completely healed. Four months later, there’s no swelling, but unfortunately, the tumor is beginning to wrap around his legs. He can’t walk stairs, he can’t lift his leg to go potty, and he can’t even scratch with his hind legs ):

As my best friend, companion, and family, I’m forced to make the difficult decision to euthanize him for a painless passing. Upon contacting his doctor, I was informed that for cremation and euthanasia, it’s going to cost me $720. I have $150 on his care credit card. If you could find it in your heart to help me ease his pain, I’d appreciate that indefinitely. I don’t want my baby to be in pain anymore ),:
