Matty Shaw

Hi all,

I’m arranging this collection on behalf of Bank Life Angling and in memory of our good friend and fishing buddy Matty Shaw!!

Matty was a massively respected member of the group, he fished loads of our events, and was always awesome company on the bank!! He came to every match he could, and also to our 3 day festivals every year. Many of you knew him well and loved being around him. Matty was one of the funniest and kindest blokes I’ve met, he would do anything for anyone!!…. And as such I think we should do a little something for him, let’s celebrate his life by making a contribution, no matter how big or how small!!

All funds raised by us all from Bank Life Angling will be passed to the family to be put for good use, whether that’s to provide financial support or contribute to funeral costs, to go into a savings account for his wonderful children, to be donated to Mattys favourite charity, or perhaps be used to pay for a long lasting tribute at one of his favourite fisheries (perhaps a bench, or a plaque, or a statue etc)…. I will speak to his brother and sort out whatever the family feel is the most fitting!

So, if you knew Matty and you want to make a donation in his honour then this is how you can do that!!…. He was a great man and a very well liked and appreciated member of Bank Life Angling by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him and fishing with him and enjoying his company!
