Mattys bucket list

Hi everyone I'm Matthews mam ,

Matthew now aged 33 got diagnosed with melanoma in 2017, he got it removed and was put in remission for 5 years , he never thought the day would come we're they would tell him his cancer is back and has spread to his brain and bowel amd got told he is terminal he had brain surgery in 2020 and a bowel operation in the same month, he got 3 to 6 months to live and nearly 2 years later he's still here , he was having radiotherapy in Newcastle and chemotherapy tablets for just over 1 year , his tablets have stopped working they have give him the last resort treatment witch is a immunotherapy, a week after his first treatment he was then told a large tumor had grew in the space off 5 weeks on his frontal lobe and needed surgery . He's a fighter !

As youse all know Matthew had a go fund me page in 2021 to make memory's with his wife and kids and myself , we done extremely well with help from other organisations, charity's family and friends. he's just really greatfull to be stil here and wants people to know how happy n greatfull he has been with all the support but he's really bored now he's been sat in for 2 year n matty was always a worker n very active so he's decided he wants to do some things he didn't think he wud have time to plan n get him up of his bottom he would love to go back to work but just can't . he thought he only had months so we're setting this up to help him achieve some things given his new treatment starts working he might have another good run n can start thinking about a bucket list fingers crossed matty most important message he wants to get out is how much he would like to thank everyone that's showed support kind words been from friends nhs staff neighbours family even strangers the helps been phenomenal
