Maui Pig Sanctuary Fire Rescue

Aloha,

my name is Devri and I live here on the island of Maui. As you may know we have been devastated by fires here and the ongoing animal rescue efforts need support in all ways. Being a pig parent I have been sharing @mauipigsanctuary story on my Instagram @twotusksmaui to help spread the word and get donations to them. The funds will be going to getting them neutered, spayed, shots , rescue efforts and reuniting efforts.

They have rescued 14 pig fire survivors already and are also assisting in many other animal rescue efforts. The cost of veterinarian bills,food etc…will be big and I know from experience it’s costly here on Maui for all these things. this go fund me was created because of the international interest in wanting to donate too. HUGE MAHALOS to all of you for your love and support! It’s taking the entire village of Maui and beyond to get through this. Any amount of donation helps and if you cannot donate please share this go fund me for us!!! Maui Pig Sanctuary will need help far beyond the present moment in assisting and caring for her new resident animals.

Jillian Vickers of Maui Pig Sanctuary has rescued 14 pigs that not only survived the Lahaina fires by huddling in a pond with the fire going over them but then survived for days w/out any food before being rescued.

also We are currently available and assisting with the Maui Wildfire rescue and recovery efforts on the island. Our community is devastated and we are doing the best we can in association with the Humane Society and other animal rescue organizations.
