I’m reaching out to you all with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. In the wake of an unimaginable fire that devastated the town of Lahaina, Maui on August 8th 2023, we stand united in grief and now determination.

In the face of this tragic loss, our hearts ache for the incredible staff of the Lahaina Christmas Store – Edwin Delaney, Jen Miller, Kaye Pagpacan, Perlita Tapanan, and Editha Portugal, many lost their homes and belongings in the flames, barely escaping with their lives. These remarkable individuals poured their hearts into creating the magical experience the store offered, and now they are faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

As the daughter of the owner of the Lahaina Christmas Store, I’ve had the honor of witnessing the magic and joy the store brought to countless lives from around the world. If you’ve had the opportunity to experience the wonder of the store, you understand the immense happiness and countless memories that were made within its walls.

100% of all proceeds will go directly to Edwin, Jen, Kaye, Perlita and Editha, offering them a lifeline with the support they need to start rebuilding their lives. I want to emphasize that every dollar raised through this fundraiser, no matter the amount, will be dedicated to ensuring they have not just shelter and clothing, but also the essential means to reconstruct their lives from the ground up.
