We are THE ISLAND PROJECT. My name is Christopher Greene and my father John Greene are 3 Generation locals and love our beloved Maui. I personally live in Lahaina, and am devastated by the tragic fires that have displaced Thousands, destroyed businesses, local communities and Landscape. We own a local real estate company IslandProjectMaui.com, a Jeep business RentMauiJeeps.com and this hits hard. We are mobilizing along with our Members & Ohana ACTIVE RELIEF EFFORTS AS WE SPEAK. ALL FUNDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED TO THOSE IN NEED IMMEDIATELY. ASAP.
We are deploying Our Fleet of a Dozen 4X4 Jeeps for Caravans and deliveries, boats in Maalaea Harbor, active relocation services and Tent cities, Food, Water, Gas, Propane, Bug Out bags, power, solar, Baby formula, diapers and MORE! Our Members are rallying HARD to Get to People that Need IMMEDIATE Assistance and SUPPORT.
How We Are Selecting BENEFICIARIES of Supplies & Donations:
- All funds will Go directly to local Families / Individuals directly affected by the Lahaina Fire. THIS Includes Loss of Home, Loss of Income, Work related loss, physical displacement, Lack of tourism and Other Damages to Help Rebuild Maui.
- These Individuals and Families are selected by our Local OHANA and Christopher Greene on the Ground in Maui as we are Lahaina residents and any supplies Helped to be distributed by Hope Chapel Church and other leaders. This Includes Food, Water, Sanitary items, Blankets, backup power, financial assistance and other items.
- Actively we currently have Relief efforts on the Ground Helping with Recovery and are making distributions to HELP those affected and In Need Families and Individuals. We also are supporting those helping with the relief efforts. God Bless!
