Maui shopping cart sanitation
Donation protected
Aloha, I started this as a free service to slow the spread of Covid19 on Maui to protect our Ohana, and to lower the curve so our healthcare workers aren’t overwhelmed with new cases.
Im out 6 night’s a week spraying shopping carts, trash cans etc at grocery stores, drug stores and the big stores like Walmart, Target, Home Depot and Lowe’s. I’m sanitizing shopping carts from Haiku to Lahaina.
im getting requests for bigger areas such as daycare centers, playgrounds.
im a small business owner who is trying to make a positive out of a negative by helping in this way. A lot of people have asked me to set up a go fund me account so they can get involved and donate to help with supplies so I chose to go ahead and set it up. Every penny helps because we don’t know just how long this will need to be done. It’s looking like weeks, A huge mahalo to those that pitch in. All money donated goes towards sanitizing solution and gas. Maybe an occasional cup of coffee. I’ll post pictures each day on our Facebook page "Maui Powerwashing”of the progress we’re making. If you notice the goal going up, that’s because the nightly cleaning is still ongoing Anything left over once we’re back to normal will be used to benefit the community.
also, I laid off my main worker and I’m out doing this every night alone. It would be great if I could pay him a little to help me.
mahalo everyone,
be safe
