Maui Wildfire Helping Special Needs Families

Tax deductible
Want to make a difference on Maui? I am with Hawaii Autism Foundation a non-profit that has been working with autism and special needs families in Hawaii since 2013 and teaming up with Maui Hope non-profit to directly serve families on Maui with special needs children that have been affected by this wildfire.
Help is going directly to in-need families in the disability community on Maui who have suffered immeasurably from this disaster. We are helping with immediate needs, such as generators, gas, clothing and family requirements AND plan to support them longer term as the community begins to recover. Families who have children with autism and other disabilities are being housed in temporary shelters--a difficult burden for any family with children, but magnified when a severe disability is involved.
With our network of parents, we can find who has a priority need and purchase goods to deliver directly to families where they are located. National-level charities are raising funds, but this campaign will allow funds to go directly to families with special needs children and adults.

Maui Hope is a 501c3 non-profit research and services organization in the field of developmental disabilities with a key objective to serve while gaining comprehensive knowledge and understanding of special needs adult lifestyle, and investigating enhancements and advancement of this humanitarian social need. Hawaii Autism Foundation (HAF) is a 501c3 that funds and provides programs and support for people diagnosed with autism in Hawaii and is committed to improving the quality of life for Hawaii's Autism families. All of us who work with the families here in Hawaii greatly appreciate your support.
