Maui Wildfire Support - Maui Humane Society

Deadly wildfires are still ravaging Maui and shelters are overflowing with families with their pets. Want to join me in making a difference to support? I'm raising money to benefit the MAUI HUMANE SOCIETY, and any donation will help make an impact. Mahalo in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

More information about Maui Humane Society: Maui Humane Society's mission is to protect and save the lives of Maui's animals; accepting all in need, educating the community, and inspiring respect and compassion towards all animals.

According to the Maui Humane Society - all funds raised will go toward performing lifesaving medical procedures on injured pets, as well as purchasing supplies for families who have lost their homes in the blazes. They also continue to coordinate foster services with Maui's residents.

My personal link to Maui - my Mom (maiden name Bernice Ching) was born and raised on Kula, Maui as one of 13 children. Although I was born and raised on Oahu, I cherish the memories of traveling back and forth to Maui for our large family celebrations and gatherings. I have since moved from Hawaii to Wisconsin, and my most recent trip to Maui was last year 2022 to celebrate my Aunty Irene's 100th birthday.

Thankfully - the family I have on Maui are safe and accounted for. Friends in Wisconsin have reached out to me to ask how they can help as there are so many worthy organizations that need donations at this time. My heart has led me to support the Maui Humane Society. I will match each and every donation up to $2,500.
