Maurice Meminger and his recovery

As most of us know, a few weeks ago, Mo’s life changed. He suffered two heart attacks and several other medical crises followed. Maurice has been moved from ICU to a hospital room and begins his next steps. It’s going to take time.

Recovery from this type of medical circumstance is not easy. And as anyone who knows Maurice knows, he’s ready to check himself out and get back to work. But, he has some more work to do before that can happen. His medical team has put Maurice in rehab for the next few weeks where he will undergo the next steps of his recovery. His mother, Loretta, is by his side for every step of the way.

But they need our help. There are a lot of things that need to be done to allow Mo and his family the time he needs to recover fully. Loretta needs to have her car shipped, bills need to be paid and we need help getting his bathroom renovated with a walk-in shower for when he returns home.

As expected, he remains a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and is anxious to make a full recovery. Loretta was grateful for many dedicated prayers and well-wishes. She mentioned how close-knit our Cole Cougar community is and how Mo has always been so instrumental in keeping us all connected
