Maurice Pinkard's Family Support Fund

Maurice Pinkard, affectionately referred to as "Moe" by his friends and family, died tragically the night of July 23, 2022, after a driver hit him on I-95 in Upper Chichester Township, PA. Moe had come to help his wife and daughter after their truck ran out of gas on the highway. While Moe was trying to fill the gas tank, the driver of a blue Ford F-150 traveled onto the right-hand shoulder of the road, striking Moe and the side of his truck. The driver fled the scene, leaving Moe with his wife Caprice and his daughter, Italia.

Maurice, 44, leaves behind his wife, his mother and siblings, six children and four grandchildren. A dedicated and loving father and grandfather, Moe endlessly raved about his family. He had a lovely sense of humor and exemplified generosity by always being there for those in need.

A highly skilled carpenter for more than 25 years, Moe was the primary breadwinner of his family. In the wake of this heartbreaking and sudden loss, Maurice's family would appreciate any support you could provide.

Additionally, if you have any information on the driver of the blue Ford F-150 please share this with local authorities. The truck is believed to be a 2016 or newer F-150 and exited I-95 via the Exit 3 off ramp. It has damage to its front end on the passenger side and a missing passenger side mirror.
