Mauro Family on behalf of the KC North Spartans

With a heavy heart, we start this Go Fund Me Page for the family of Alexander Mauro. The KC North Spartans U13 hockey team not only lost a teammate and a friend, but they also lost one of their brothers. While on a spring break getaway with his family and doing one of the many sports he loved, Alex passed away from a severe skiing injury. As a hockey family, we are saddened by this sudden loss of one of our teammates and assistant captains. Nothing prepares you for such a loss, and The KC North Spartans would like to help support the Mauro family as much as we can through this fundraiser to cover some of the costs incurred by the passing of Alex. So many of you have reached out asking how you can help during this difficult time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking loss. We want to thank everyone for their generosity and appreciate the care and concern you have shown to the Mauro Family.
