David and Vaiva Wood

My name is Maury Abreu, and I am launching this fundraiser for my best friend and Brother - David J Wood’s next bout of wide ranging post-trauma therapy. The medical treatments David is in immediate need of are required in order to continue his miraculous healing journey. These include, (but are not limited to) occupational, physical, speech, and cognitive therapy.

God willing, David WILL be fully restored! His journey has been incredibly challenging. One day David goes in for a scheduled, fairly routine surgery. Post-surgery, David experienced countless medical emergencies including his heart stopping for 20 minutes, going into a coma, sepsis, and multiple additional surgeries. He survived what most wouldn’t, but the fight is not over.

I’m humbly asking you financially contribute whatever you can towards his medical rehabilitation and, ultimately witness his testimony of FULL recovery. The time for action is now, and we thank you with all our hearts.
