Help 5-year-old Maverick Fight Brain Cancer

Donation protected
My nephew, 5-year-old Maverick Pendleton, has been battling brain cancer for the past year. The devastating news came after a few months of getting sick without answers. He was diagnosed in September 2022 with having a high-grade glioma, a type of tumor formed in the brain or spinal cord. His diagnosis came just a few months after turning 4. He had several brain surgeries and a few rounds of chemotherapy and the tumor appeared to be shrinking. Then in August of 2023, Maverick's newest MRI showed that the tumor had stopped responding to chemotherapy and had grown quite large again. On September 14th, Maverick underwent another 8-hour surgery to try and remove as much of the tumor as possible and to try and determine how its makeup had changed so we know how to change his treatment plan. Maverick is the youngest of 5 children for my twin sister, Becky and brother-in-law, Josh. He's also the youngest grandchild on our side of the family and the diagnosis has been overwhelming on everyone. If you can spare a few dollars to help alleviate some of the financial stress of the past year and what's to come in the future, I know Becky and Josh would be forever grateful. Their focus should be on getting their son the best treatment and quality of life as possible. Thank you all so much! Love, Bari
