In Loving Memory of Max Gates

On February 20, 2021 our community lost our beloved Max. He left behind a beautiful family - his grandpa Ron , grandma Cheryl, mom Kathy, and big brother Jake.

Max has been my neighbour since childhood. We grew up together, fortunate to be part of a larger community, fondly referred to as "The Grove". Max's laughter and joy was contagious. You always felt loved when you were in his presence, he made everyone feel special. Friends felt at ease when around Max, he had a light heartedness which made him easy to be around. Max was generous with his affection to others which extended to the many foster children that came and went throughout our home. Ethan, my younger brother, and Max shared much of their lives together. When my family lost Ethan, Max filled the holes Ethan left behind. He never missed a celebration or reason to gather, sharing laughter and tears.

Now, it is with a heavy heart my turn to give back to Max and his family. Let's come together, as we do so well, to support Max's family. This "Go Fund Me" has been created to address funeral costs and expenses. Join with me to help carry their burden. Please consider providing financial support. It will be received with much gratitude. All funds will be managed by Jake and his family.

Max’s family would love to afford a place for him rest where our community can visit, accessible to all.
