Help my sister get mobile

My sister Marion is the most loving and caring person I know always there to help anyone in need putting everyone’s need ahead of her own.

In December 2023 she started having tummy pains thinking it was just constipation carried on while still in pain after doctors told her to just drink more water and take laxatives.

Over the next 2 months things got a lot worse for her she was unable to see a doctor as was told appointment was not needed by the end of March she was in a wheelchair as she was getting pains in her right leg and not able to move the leg.

At the beginning of April she finally got an appointment at the doctors for blood tests which the results came back off the scale on the 18th April she was sent to hospital for an emergency CT scan where they found 2 large abscesses one pressing on her kidneys the other at the top of her leg.

She was taken into surgery to remove the abscesses but it was found that she had bowel cancer which had burst so part of her bowel was removed which has left her with a stoma and having to wear a bag since this surgery she has been in for a second operation as another abscess formed. She is now making a slow recovery but relies on her husband and family to help her with everyday chores, as a family we are trying to help her get some independence back what we would really love is to raise enough money to buy her a mobility scooter that can be folded up and put in the car so that she can move about on her own without relying on people to go out with her and push her in a wheelchair please help us make Maz independent
