Max Lieberman, after 4 years of battling cancer, got tired…
Donation protected
When cancer strikes, it is never easy, and a 48 year old father of three, is just continuing his long battle.
My name is Julie Karobkoff and I believe it takes a village to raise children, Well children in my village are suffering with Max. Joey (11), Jonny(6) & Jordan (2). I am blessed enough to have these angels call me Aunty.
Max is a fighter and battled colorectal Cancer during the pandemic. He won. We celebrated. But this past June during his quarterly check in at the doctors it confirmed their worst fear - the cancer now metastasized in the liver.
It was like Deja Vu of the worst kind! What now? Surgery again? Chemo? Radiation? Sick leave? Insurance? Most likely all you of the above. Lots of questions, very few answers. The only thing is certain - another battle is looming ahead.
We have no idea how long Max is going to be fighting this fight and prognosis is not promising at the moment and his quality of life will drastically change within the next 4-5 years. There is a very little chance that this battle will be over and Max will have to be on chemo regiment for the rest of his life. There is also a high chance that his wife will be raising three kids on her own if chemo doesn’t do its job.
The medical bills are already starting to pile up and from the last round the Lieberman’s had depleted their life savings. Max started disability this and won’t be able to work and he needs to be able to help support his children, not to mention so many other expenses like parking, vehicle insurance, vehicle payments and the list goes on. Close family and friends have been helping with payments at this time, but we can only do so much. If you think you can help in any way, even in a little way - It is all so greatly appreciated! We aspire to raise enough money to help Max with his expenses and if there is any left after this nightmare is over, it would be put towards the children’s future, a future Max will only aspire to see. Thank you all in advance, your support means the world to us.
