Hello, my name is Briana Rehana and I am a friend of the family and I’m organizing a fundraiser to help support one of the sweetest kids on the planet, Damien and his equally amazing mom, Elizabeth.
Many of you may have already heard about the two 17 years old who were stabbed on the MAX and that it was a bias crime. However, the news is not able to cover the hospital stay of Damien, who was stabbed in the chest, but the injuries were significant. And now, this family needs our help!
I would love if the community could show up and support the family by helping them financially in this critical time. I’m asking for us to raise the funds to cover lost wages, meals, medical expenses and possibly a new mode of transportation otherwise, Damien will have to continue to take the MAX.
The family would be so thankful if the city of Portland could show up big for them! They’ve already expressed how supported they feel by us all.
