Max's Dental Surgery: Help a Rescue Dog
Donation protected
This is max. He’s 13. He’s a rescue I’ve had for 5 years. When I got him he had been attacked by large dogs multiple times. He had surgery on his jaw and his ribs. He had a plate in his jaw that needed to get removed along with a couple teeth when I got him. He also has seizures so he has to take medicine 2 times daily to prevent them. When I got him, he already came with health issues but he needed a home and now he’s part of my family. He’s the sweetest dog and the best friend of our 1 year old cat mango.
Now he’s been having issues with his teeth. I’ve been to multiple vets and they say he needs his some of his teeth removed. The starting bill to make sure he’s safe to get surgery for his teeth removal is 1,200. We can’t get a clear estimate but we were given a rough estimate of 3,000 - 4,000 to remove the bad teeth. I don’t have that kind of money on hand so I’m here asking you to help save my dog. I’m not ready to lose him and he has so much life left in him. Other than his teeth he acts like a puppy and is always ready to play and eats like normal when his teeth aren’t paining him. Right now he’s on medicine for his teeth but that’s only a temporary fix.
also I’m not sure how this works but if there is any additional funds left over and I’m unable to return them, they’ll be used for the vet we take him to as angel funds to help the next animal in need.
edit: I was given a quoted total of 2,500 for his teeth and 800 for the initial visit. I changed the total goal to that amount because that covered everything. If it goes over goal I will be donating to angel funds either way.
