Maya Sharma

Hello Everyone, my name is Mamta Timsina and I’m starting this fundraiser to save the life of my sister Maya Sharma who lives in India. Maya is currently undergoing dialysis after both of her kidneys stopped to function. Doctor in the local hospital advised Maya to go to a bigger hospital after they discovered the failure of both of her kidneys. Maya is a mother of a young teenage boy, and she lives with her husband, Tara Dahal. On the advice of my parents, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends, Maya travelled all the way to Vellore, South India, for a treatment at Christian Medical College, one of the prominent hospitals in India. After a thorough examination, a team of doctors in Christian Medical College, Vellore concluded that both of Maya’s kidneys had failed completely. Hence, the doctor’s suggested that the only option left for Maya is to have both kidneys' dialysis and at least one kidney transplanted. Now, Maya is in the most difficult situation of her life and in this hour of uncertainty, I would like to request all my relatives, friends, and families, "Please save my sister Maya, she deserves to live longer." Maya needs a kidney donor to help replace one of the kidneys as well as funds to cover her dialysis treatment and the kidney transplant once kidney donor has been found. I have created the Gofund campaign to raise funds to support Maya to have successful dialysis treatment as well kidney transplant. Therefore, I would like to request all my friends, families, and relatives around the world to support my campaign to save my sister’s life. Your donation big or small will help to pay for the dialysis while also helping to pay for the other medical expenses including kidney transplant.
