Mayer Rivero Medical Needs

Our very own Mayer Rivero had an accident in July which led to a head injury that caused a hematoma on his brain.  Over the last two months he has suffered from severe headaches and then yesterday he began having trouble communicating with us while working at the Board office.  He was taken to Park City Hospital where they believed he was having a stroke and life flighted him to Salt Lake City.  There the neurosurgeon found that he had not suffered from a stroke but it was a result of the injury.  Mayer went into surgery last night where they removed a piece of his skull and the blood clot to release the pressure from his brain.  He is responsive and working with therapist to hopefully regain his speech.  As you can imagine this is going to be a challenging time for him and his family.  We would love to have your support of Mayer through donations that will assist him with the large medical bills that will follow.
