Thank you for visiting the Mayfair Monsoon High School Wrestling fundraising page.
The Mayfair Monsoon High School Wrestling Team has a proud tradition of providing a positive learning experience combined with the thrill of competition for young student athletes. The wrestling program’s goals are to further the education and maturity of our student athletes by providing them the opportunity to compete in an organization of the highest competitive caliber. The Monsoons creates an environment that encourages self-discipline, hard work, develops leadership skills and enhances self-esteem. Some of the team's accomplishments in the 2016-2017 season include:
- 5x Suburban League Champions
- Back 2 Back CIF Southern Section Duals Champions
- CIF Individual Suburban League Champions
- 6 Masters Qualifiers
- 3 State Qualifiers
- 1st year Girls Team and Individuals Champions
- 4 Qualifiers CIF Southern Section Girls Championship
Our volunteer based booster club and the wrestling team are attempting to raise funds to help run a successful wrestling program, that will allow us to train and compete against other high schools within our region and state. This fundraiser is not to only raise revenue, but also awareness of our presence on campus and in our city.
As you can imagine, with the cost of training facilities, uniforms, travel and equipment, have a high overhead for our Varsity, Junior Varsity and Girls wrestling teams. With the ongoing reduced school budgets, 90% of the wrestling program funding and support comes directly from student fees and dues, donations, fundraisers and volunteers to help cover the program’s expenses.
We are reaching out to our local friends, family and community partners to ask for your support. Your donations will help fund the team's needs and pay for the following items that are required to run a successful wrestling season:
- Coaching staff
- New singlets and uniforms
- Student fees to remain low
- Tournament Fees
- Seminars and clinics
- Travel and hotel expenses
- First-Aid supplies
- Training equipment and cleaning supplies
- End of season banquet
- 2016 CIF Championship awards
We would like to respectfully request any sponsorship opportunity that you may have to meet this goal. All sponsorships and donations are tax deductible and with your help we are sure we can lead our team to another CIF Championship.
