Honoring Mayla: A Legacy of Love for Cats with Illnesses

Dear Friends and Furbaby Lovers,

3 years ago on 11/27/21 I lost my beloved and precious baby girl, Mayla to CKD, FIP, and Multiple Myeloma. She was not just a pet; she was family, joy, a huge piece of my heart & soul, and unconditional love. In her memory, I wish to honor her beautiful short life by giving back to the feline community so that we can help other cats by directly supporting The Brooklyn Cat Cafe, a non-profit volunteer-run adoption center and community space in our home borough of Brooklyn, NY.

My sweet Mayla brought so much light into my life, and I know her love and spirit can inspire others to care for other cats in need. Sadly, there are countless cats and other animals in shelters who may never know the comfort of a loving home. By creating this fundraiser, I’m donating ALL proceeds to The Brooklyn Cat Cafe affiliated with Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition (BBAWC), an organization dedicated to providing care, shelter, and second chances to animals waiting for their forever homes.

With your help, I hope to raise $1000+ to support The Brooklyn Cat Cafe affiliated with Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition (BBAWC). These funds will go directly toward:

Providing food, medical care, and supplies for sick and/or homeless pets.

Supporting adoption initiatives to help animals find loving homes.

Funding spay/neuter programs to reduce overpopulation.
