In Memory of Mayra Brandt

Dear Friends & Family,

Our hearts are broken over the sudden loss of Mayra Brandt. Mayra was Jay’s beloved wife, TJ and Layla’s mom, Rafael and Mayra’s daughter, Cristina and Rafael’s sister, and one of the most wonderful friends to us all. At only 43 years old, Mayra’s bright light was extinguished far too soon. Our hearts ache with this unimaginable loss.

Mayra’s impact on people was far reaching through her family, multiple circles of friends, Boca Extreme Cheer, CrossFit Delray Beach, just to name a few. The volume of people reaching out wanting to support her family is overwhelming and indicative of the powerful force she was in our lives. The offers of food, gift cards, flowers, financial support, etc. are astounding.

In the end, we all want to honor Mayra’s memory by coming together to support her family during this incredibly difficult time. We thought it would be best to centralize all these efforts to one source and allow Jay to determine what needs they have most as it relates to the coming days, arrangements, and even supporting TJ and Layla’s future. Your generosity will help support Jay, TJ, and Layla’s healing and remembrance of Mayra’s beautiful soul.
