Mayra Giving Her Little Angel a Proper Goodbye

Sam Arroyo Lucero was found lifeless in his crib on Friday November 24, 2023 by his mother, Mayra Lucero Carejo. Distraught and desperate, Mayra called 911; the paramedics did what they could to try and revive Sam. It was sadly too late.

Sam was born August 27, 2022 with bilateral open lip Schizencephaly; which is a rare condition that causes developmental delays. Mayra is waiting for the result of the autopsy to learn the cause of the death.

Mayra, a 21 year old single mother of 3, worked full time and did everything to meet Sam's needs. Mayra doesn't have any family in this country. Please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can so that Mayra can give the proper and dignified burial to her little angel Sam.

As you can imagine, funeral and burial costs are very expensive. The casket and burial will be over $1600. Her local church will cover the funeral procedure.
