With a heavy heart, we are sad to share that on Thursday, April 23, our beloved mother Mayra Santiz passed away due to complications from COVID-19. As a strong and resilient woman, she fought for 24 days. She was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, partner, and Abuelita. She loved unconditionally, and with her whole heart. She enjoyed the beach, listening to music, and spending quality time with her loved ones. Her smile was infectious and could light up a room.
She leaves behind her partner of 20 years, Oscar Gavidia.
Her children, Alex, Sandy, and Thomas.
Her grandchildren, Taina, Zion, Jaden, Analise, Alexander Jr., and Jacob.
She will be greatly missed by many, but will forever live on in our memories and hearts.
