Mayre & Abby's New Beginning

Hi everyone! I hope you all take a minute to read our story. For those who know me, know I would never ask for help unless I really need it. My name is Mayre and I have a 9 year old daughter. Recently we had to leave our home due to domestic violence. It was a heartbreaking thing to do since we have been at this residence since before Abby was born. As a single mother, I have tried reaching out for assistance through the state, but have been denied multiple times. I took the chance and sought for help through the county of Morris, and multiple out of county but was unsuccessful. Yes, I have a full time job but no-one realizes I must also provide for my child and her well being. Since the day we left we have had to go from sleeping in the car, changing hotels and sleeping on different friends couches. I am so grateful for all my friends that have granted me the chance to keep my daughter safe on these cold nights. As time is going by, I can no longer afford hotels, and I ask that you contribute to help me and my daughter get a home we can call our own. Any funds received will go towards moving costs.
