May's Advent Challenge
Help me raise funds to give the children that live in the Kibera slums of Nairobi, Kenya a hot meal and a small gift this Christmas. The Lunchbowl Network work all year round to uplift young children out of hopeless poverty, feeding the bodies and educating the minds of the most vulnerable children giving them hope and a brighter future. As in many parts of the world I would like to help provide them with a special experience this Christmas. I am taking on a challenge to finish my 2023 by running the date in kilometers for each day of the Advent calendar e.g. 6km for 6th December, 23km for 23k December ... although some parameters have been set to avoid having to run 4 half marathons in a row! In total I will run 300kms by the 24th December
Do you want to join me in making a difference? Every donation will help, £2 will provide 6 hot meals. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
More information about The Lunchbowl Network: We are a UK charity feeding and educating children age 2 to 12 in Kibera slum Nairobi, Kenya. www.lunchbowl.org We also provide for medical emergencies and every week feed an extra 450 children from the slum.
*I’m not running the dates in order and it will be completed between 24th November and 24th December
