Mazen Saleh Recovery Fund

Over Labor Day weekend, our dear friend Mazen experienced an accident that required him to be airlifted to the ICU at VCU Medical Center for several days. He injured several of his vertebrae and required significant spinal surgery. One week after the incident it has become clear that Mazen will have a some significant medical costs due to this experience. He will be on short term disability which will impact his income and of course there are the subsequent medical bills that come along with surgery, recovery, etc. Mazen has been cleared to be discharged from the ICU. Once some logistics are completed, The plan as of today is to move him to a rehabilitation center in Northern Virginia the week of September 10th.
Mazen is doing well but will have a long road to recovery to include physical therapy and rehab to regain his strength and mobility. His injury initially left him partially paralyzed. He has already made incredible strides towards his recovery due to his positive attitude and determination. Doctor's say he should walk again as swelling decreases and rehabilitation efforts are maintained.
In addition to your prayers and positive messages, Please make an effort to assist with his funding. It is amazing how even the smallest amount will add up to assist with this type of situation.
Thank you-
