The night of June 1st at 10:30pm Sebastian was involved in a horrific car accident, he was a passenger in a vehicle that lost control and was expelled along with 4 other young men. This accident has left him in the hospital fighting for his life. June 3rd was Sebastian’s 19th birthday, and instead of celebrating with a cake and his favorite food, wings and fries, his parents had to visit him in the ICU at Abington Hospital. Many of you who know and love Bash, or have a child his age can understand the devastation this has caused. His high school graduation is a few days away, and he was so excited to begin his future with his girlfriend, and if you know him then you knew he had big dreams for them. Sebastian is a gentle teddy bear who towered over everyone and is also one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Whenever I would see him he always had this silly grin on his face, as if he was just told the funniest joke that only he was privy to-this would always bring a smile to my face. He is a fiercely loyal friend and a loving caring son. And to quote his mom, Karen “Love your children, praise them and celebrate them. I struggle now with the thought that I may never again experience Sebastian’s infectious smile, his big warm burly hugs, his witty humor, and his ambitious dreams for a life he so wanted to experience.”
Sebastian is currently in Abington Hospitals ICU with a traumatic brain and spinal
cord injury. He’s recovery will be a lengthy process and we are certain he will need months if not years of specialized care along with rehabilitation and physical therapy.
Any contribution is greatly appreciated! All funds will go directly to Sebastian’s family towards medical bills and any other expenses that may arise from this tragedy. Thank-you in advanced for you prayers and donations.
