Donations for funeral expenses for Cody Sampson

Dear friends and family,

We are writing to you today to let you know about the loss of Cody James Sampson and ask for donations to help with funeral expenses. Cody's passing was sudden and unexpected. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Moapa, NV (1420 Barlow Ave Moapa, NV 89025) on Wednesday May 24, 2023. Viewing starts at 10 a.m and funeral starts at 11 a.m. followed by a procession to the Logandale Cemetary and refreshments at the church. All are welcome and invited to attend. We would like to see everyone and hear stories of Cody.

We are devastated by Cody's passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Based on the quote we received and the internet searches, the price for the funeral will be around $16,000.00. Here is a breakdown of all the costs involved in the funeral service for Cody:

Mortuary services, casket, vault, funeral staff, viewing, transportation, gave site tent & chairs, state license and fees, cemetery fees, clothing, programs, death certificates, etc. $12,741.78

Headstone: $2,300 approximate

Family Transportation to Nevada: $1,700

Total: $16,741.78
