It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved mother. She was a gentle soul, a woman whose heart was large enough to embrace everyone she met. Her kindness, peace, and warmth touched so many lives, not just as a mother to her three children but to countless others whom she welcomed into her life as a family. Her ability to make people feel seen and loved was unmatched, and she leaves behind an enduring legacy of love.
Tragically, during her visit to Australia, my mum collapsed just a few meters from the aircraft upon arrival at Sydney Airport and passed away. The suddenness of her passing has left our family in shock and grief. An autopsy was carried out and determined the cause of her unexpected death to be Pulmonary Thromboembolism. This loss is deeply painful for all of us, particularly for my father, who has now lost his lifelong partner.
As we try to navigate the heartache of losing her, we are faced with the financial constraint on how to lay her to rest. We decided to bury her here in Australia. This is an option that comes with significant financial costs, and we are struggling to bear these expenses during this already difficult time.
The cost of arranging a respectful and dignified service here in Australia is considerably expensive. These unexpected financial burdens have added to our grief, and we humbly ask for your support to help us give her the farewell she truly deserves.
We are reaching out to our community for any assistance you can provide. No contribution is too small, and every bit of support will help ease the financial strain and allow us to focus on honouring my mum’s memory in the way she would have wanted. Your kindness and generosity will ensure that she is laid to rest with the dignity and love she shared throughout her life.
From the depths of our hearts, thank you for standing with us during this painful time. Your thoughts, prayers, and contributions mean more to us than words can express. Together, we can celebrate her life and legacy in the way she truly deserves.
