MCA Jr. Red Tornadoes Football & Cheer

WHO WE ARE: The Mount Carmel Area Junior Red Tornadoes is a newfound organization that is seeking to provide our local youth with a positive avenue in which to participate in the game they love.  Our community has a long standing passion for the game of Football and our youth has the enthusiasm and desire to continue to participate as both players and cheerleaders.  We are seeking to provide these young athletes with the best possible environment in which to facilitate good sportsmanship and teamwork and to provide training in and knowledge of the game.

OUR SITUATION: The team many of our players/parents were previously associated with (Mount Carmel Jets) is no longer an option for our children to participate in.  Due to the negative actions of individuals associated with the former organization, the Jets were permanently removed from the league in which we participated. Unfortunately, the negativity and stain associated with the former organization makes it impossible to facilitate the positive athletic environment that we are seeking for our young athletes. Therefore, the Junior Red Tornadoes has been established in order to provide such an opportunity to our young athletes!  However, due to the circumstances of the former organization and the obstructions it is facing, our 65 + young athletes have been left without any equipment or funding.

WHAT WE NEED: Our organization is looking towards our local and surrounding communities & businesses, Mount Carmel Tornadoes and Jets alumni, parents & friends of our young athletes to help us mold these players and cheerleaders into positive and confident individuals who will possess a strong sense of community and sportsmanship. The Junior Red Tornadoes needs yours help so we can provide our young athletes with a home team where THE TRADITION CONTINUES.

OUR GOAL: Based on estimates for fees, uniforms, equipment, field maintenance, insurance, etc., our current fundraising goal is $50,000. Due to our time constraints, we hope to reach our goal by the end of May 2019!
