Mccloskeys Marathon Men

A couple of weeks ago we should have been celebrating @james_mccloskey1 26th birthday. Sadly instead it was a day which emphasised his absence, felt by so many hearts.

Like many others James’ journey was cut far too short. We miss him every minute of every day and we’ve all been fighting our own battles since we lost him However with the amazing support from family, friends, doctors and therapists we know he would be so so proud of how far we’ve all come. James lit up every room he walked in to and now he’ll act as a beacon of hope for those who are suffering. In his honour and memory, myself and the @mccannditioning will be completing the Derry Half Marathon on the 3rd September and the Kilkenny Medieval Marathon on the 16th September in an attempt to raise as much money as possible to support anyone who may need it and to give back to those who have helped us. We’ll be raising money for the incredible charity @zesthealingthehurt who have been unimaginably supportive and helped us all so much.
