McClure Family Expenses
Chloe McClure is no stranger to hospitals to say the least. Born with a congenial heart defect she has seen her fair share of ICUs and hospital beds in her short 17 years. She has the heart and spirit of a warrior, but life has thrown her another curveball.
On November 13th Chloe was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Omaha after Covid proved too much for her system. She is in the PICU at Children’s hospital and is being treated not only for Covid, but for a heart infection, and 2 septic emobli on her brain, a result of the virus.
Her parents, Josh and Meghan McClure stay by her side as much as the hospital and the Covid restrictions will allow. However, they are unable to stay in the free housing at the Rainbow House due to Chloe’s positive diagnosis for Covid and have to stay at a nearby hotel. The hotel that they are staying at no longer offers continental breakfast or dinner for their guests and while at the hospital they are not able to eat at the cafeteria because of their proximity to Covid.
Josh, a fire fighter and Paramedic for Sioux City Fire Rescue and member of Sioux City Professional Fire Fighters Local 7 and Meghan, an Instructor for Nursing at St. Luke’s College have devoted their lives and careers to not only taking care of their children but to serving and caring those within their community especially during this time of need.
Chloe and the entire McClure Family need your thoughts and prayers for strength, health and improvement of their warrior.
All donations received will help offset the cost of lodging, food, and travel expenses they incur while staying by Chloe’s side.
If you would like to donate gift cards in lieu of cash, please contact Sarah Orwig directly to make arrangements.
Thank you for your generosity, prayers and support of Chloe and her family.
