McCrary Medical Bills

Hello,

My name is Ben McCrary. I am the husband of a wonderful wife, Diane. The Sunday before Thanksgiving 2021 we experienced a massive trauma. After taking a course of medication which caused a rare and adverse reaction, my wife experienced massive hemorrhaging and lost over a third of her blood volume. We rushed to the ER where she was given a double blood transfusion. After being stabilized, she spent the next 4 days in ICU. In order to stabilize her hemoglobin levels, she is going to need at least 2 iron infusions over the next few weeks. She needs these infusions to prepare for a hysterotomy that will prevent future medical issues from a history of massive uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and uterine adhesions. We had planned on trying to schedule the surgery for the summer of 2022, but recent events have moved the need to now. Due to this, she will be unable to work for the next few months. Without her income and these unexpected medical bills, we are going to need help making ends meet. The goal amount includes what we estimate to be the ICU stay, iron infusions, the cost of surgery with another hospital stay, and the 2-3 months she will be unable to work. She is a wonderful wife, mother and human being. She is an interpreter for the D/deaf and Hard of Hearing. She is always looking out for and giving to those who have need. Please help her/us in this time so that the financial weight of these events are not what we are worried about during this time of healing and recovery. Any money raised that is not needed to cover medical expenses and bills while out of work will be paid forward to charitable organizations in our town.
