Friends and Family—
We are Rachel, DJ and Sara McFadyen. Otherwise known as RaDoSa. It is with heavy hearts that we need to tell you that our dad, Don McFadyen, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer. As he battles this awful disease, the expenses continue to mount, and we are faced with doing something we’re not very good at….asking for help.
We are now working on fundraising efforts. Dad was just starting a new job when all this started to unfold. Unfortunately, he is unable to work, and the bills are mounting. It seems there is no easy way to say any of this. It’s just hard on all fronts. We are usually the family supporting the needs of others, not the other way around….
We are humbly launching this GoFundMe page for our mom and dad. If you feel that you can donate to the growing expenses in the McFadyen family, we are extremely grateful. Please—if this is not an opportune time PLEASE don’t feel bad. A prayer offering of inner peace and strength goes a long way. If anyone understands the ebb and flow of finances, it’s us. This fundraising is very difficult for us in itself. It is not in our nature at all….
Dad, a.k.a. Don McFadyen, or even Donnie—to our grandparents and aunts and his high school friends…well—he’s an awesome man with great integrity and love for his family, friends and his co-workers throughout the years.
